The skin is coated with four layers of oil-based Zar Exterior Polyurethane, mixed with dry white pigment (titanium dioxide). The firstcoat is thinned in order to really saturate the fabric. I use a brush for applying the Zar, and paint about a coat a day. Before the final coat, some light sanding is usually required to smoothen the surface.
